Some times I just walk and walk ...

Konichiwa

I have heard mum and dad discuss how far they think I would go without them. Like, just walk off. Recently at the beach, I thought I might test them a bit.

Right, that's Dad seen to, he is off with Monty. Now is my chance to start walking.

Right past mum...

...and off, towards freedom. With plastic shovels.

Just making sure mum knows I am totally walking down this path. Yeah Craig David fans, I'm walking away.

Still walking.
Still walking. Freedom tastes sweet, like an ice cream with a lolly in it, or a ginger bread 'man'.

Finally, the oldies freaked out and came and got me. Dad is leading me back to the car. The jig was up. I was shot down in a blaze of glory...without the bullets and stuff.

Good times. I quite like beaches, especially when it is overcast, as the beach is all mine.

Mine I say, mine!

Who's the Boss? Well, me actually

Hola

I've been called bossy a few times by Dad. I don't know why he says that, I mean, he doesn't have time to call me names in between building me some new train tracks, colouring in my books and getting me a drink.

Yes, I like to kick back. It's important to chill a bit in this mad mad world. It also gives me time to think about my art projects...

First up, a photo shoot with Monty. Dad needs a bit of direction. I said use the 50mm lens stupid!

Here, I am telling mum to change angles to get the bubbles better.

See? With my direction, this totally arty pic of me through bubbles is now on this blog for your enjoyment. With a bit of practise, I reckon mum could get good at taking pictures. She just needs to listen to me.

We went to Mudgee. I went on a miniture train with daddy, Aaron and Aaron's hair. There is nothing sad about being a grown adult and spending your weekend driving miniture trains about a paddock. I think dad should shut up and get me a special treat.

After the train ride, I took dad for a walk. He needs to burn some energy so he has a good sleep.

We went to a winery which had a statue in it. It was doing the pose all wrong.

On our way back from Mudgee, we stopped at Glenny's place. I had to have a look at the mad axes he keeps around. It was a choice of a rock bass or a rock guitar. So I played both, cos that's rock squared.

Mudgee huh? Pretty sweet town if you ask me. Might have to go back there, I am sure there were some parks and beer gardens we missed.

Cheers

It's a man...no, really

Hi there peeps

This blog is rated MA and may contain nudity and inappropriate gingerbread man decoration

Uncle Aaron was giggling like the schoolgirl he really is when he gave this to me:

Yes, it really is a ginger bread man

All I could say was "It's a man", "mmmm, nice" and "mmmm, tasty" as I ate him all up.

He's not a man any more. He's a memory.

Doing stuff

Hi there

It's been a busy time up here, what with, you know, visitors and going places and stuff.

Below is the photographic proof:

Glenn Monkey from the Mountains came to watch footy. And it turns out he can read as well. Who said Eels fans were all stupid?

I like cooking, as fans will remember. Banana and choc-chip muffins are better if you mash the banana with a potato masher. Really grind that banana into a pulp. Teach it a lesson.

Dad has been telling me about my ears. Then I tried to explain to mum. This ear is broken. Dad is going to fix it with a drill.

This ear is not broken. It's noisy. So no drill in that ear for me. Which is good, I have seen dad with the drill and it is messy.

Time is of the essence people. A young dude must multi-task these days just to get the job done. So if you are on the toilet and Poppa needs to be told what sort of toilet paper we have, well, you know. Come on, you tell me you haven't used your phone in a toilet.

While outside the world ended (or it was a dust storm), I was busy watching Little Princesses. It's this show about these three Princesses who live in the sea and their adventures. Have I mentioned I also like clip on earrings?

Sydney Park is awesome fun. I am playing with Chloe and throwing a bit of sand about.

Even more fun is a trip to the beach with Immy. We dug holes, we picked up things that were yucky and we ran around a lot. Not as much as mum who had to chase her hat half way down the beach. She had to get it before some Shire person stole it.

Mum said if I am naughty, this will happen to me. I quietly think mum is a bit special, as the pegs match. Brobie and Bunny have been very well behaved since being hung out to dry. No more rolling in the dirt for them.

Right, better get off the computer and go do more stuff so mum can takes pics of me so I can get back on the computer to do another blog...

Sweet rides ...

Hi there

I am a man of action. One day, there will be an action figure of me. And it will be totally collectable, so if you buy one, don't take it out of the box.

Little known fact - to make a trike go faster, stick out your tongue.

The parking at the back door is 45 degree. I have heard it is a one hour zone, but I have never gotten a ticket. Just as well, as I would totally not pay it.

My cargo of precious things - a small broom, polystyrene corn and chili and a Hawks footy. Don't get any ideas about nicking any of it.

My other bike is a, er, trike as well. With pedals. And it can go real fast too. Faster even still if you are wearing no pants.

Then mum got inspired by Top Gear and started taking arty pics of my mighty trike. Which is cool if I ever need to sell it. Would get top dollar.

It is the season for sweet rides peeps...

some randomness

Hi there

You know, sometimes this blog has a theme linking the pics, telling a story, letting you into a part of my crazy life (like Ricky Martin, I am living la vida loca).

Not this one. Nuh huh. Below are just some pics. Of me. Doing stuff. Cos I can.

Check it out:

I am into my train set. The orange thing in my hand is a little man. I am putting him on the tracks. I will then run over him. Life can be tough in Train Land.

In the garden with Dad. We dug a hole. We then put Little Jess in there. This is a plant apparently, not a person. Cos digging holes in the backyard and putting people in them is wrong and Daddy says I can't tell anyone about that.

Aaron had a birthday. I think he turned two, because that is how many candles he had on his cake. I decorated it with lollies. Sadly, mum didn't buy any lollies that look like Princesses.

Water is fun. You can tip it on the ground and splash it all around. Check out my cool elephant watering can. Bet you want one too. Maybe for Christmas if you are lucky.

Our special guests choose to stay at Campsie-Upon-Cook, the premier accommodation in the Moore St area. And they get to stay on blow-up mattresses. And the next morning, I get to lie on it, even when there is no air in it.

Ice cream. Really. Name something better.

I like sushi and sashimi. Actually, I like rice and the orange stuff, Dad called it roe but there was no boat going down any streams, so I think he was just making it up. I am like Daniel-san on the chopsticks as well.

Hooray! Mum has finally worked out how to download pics off her phone. This is me with my Mexican fiesta trike. Turns out I can totally peddle this baby like a big boy. Soon, I will be driving a car.

And lastly, the hairdresser. Now, apparently what happens is Mum pays some girl to sit me in a chair and give me toys to play with while she attacks my hair with scissors. And the toy? Just me or does this look like a mug shot of someone who would hold up a bank?

And there you have it.

Until you have it next time,

Harper

Invaders from the South

Hey again

More blogging good times... The other week, we had visitors - Greggy, Ali and Siddy came up from Melbourne. We hung out, as you do.

Greg let it be known that when he is in town, he is the boss.

Siddy let it be known that he is now the one who fixes things.

Greggy can't help himself - he demands a tidy yard. So my car, trike and truck were lined up against the wall and told to behave.

I had to reclaim the honour of the family, so at dinner, I kicked Siddy's backside in an eating contest. Take that Esposito!

Then the next day, Siddy totally spanked me in an ice cream eating competition. But, you know, I like to savour ice cream, not guzzle it. So I won, cos the contest was actually who can take the longest to eat ice cream. Double take that Esposito!

Mummy and Alice were being silly. Poor Monty didn't know what all the fuss was about. He just wished someone sensible would hold him for a photo.

Then Dad had a go and was completely useless as well.

Then, Siddy upstages everyone with his new look. He calls it 'Fire and Ice'. It totally wowed everyone.
We had to talk about this and the new look I am working on, which I can't reveal yet. But when I do, everything will change. I'm going to call it 'Luke Warm Water'...

Sharing a bath is fun. I am not sure Siddy agreed at first. Maybe it was the bubble-beard he was wearing.

But he got into it when we started playing with my toys and I showed him my ace bubble sidies.

Then it was family photo time. Apparently. I so wasn't ready and therefore made it a painful experience. 'Luke Warm Water' is not ready, I kept saying. No one cared.

Then Dad trapped me and we got this pic. Can you spot the dinosaur?

What a beaut visit. I am so looking forward to tearing Hobart apart come Christmas. With three young kids - me, Siddy and Poppy - on the rampage, it will be a Chrissy to remember. Only 3.5 months to go.

Cheers
