Zoo? Don't mind if I do

Hiya

While the powers-that-be collate the Official Best of 2010 Harper Maxwell Perrett Collection (coming to a store near you), here's a pic of me (and the others) at the zoo from the other day. We were on our way to the Sky Safari (the cool chair lift) to look for monkeys.

We saw elephants as well (which was way cool). And during the day, we saw meerkats, giraffes and the seal show (which was super sweet).


I have run out of parenthesis now, so I have to go.

New Year madness

Hi all

It's been busy at my house. Playing, eating treats, mucking around, playing again, asking for more treats...so much to do. We had a Christmas (that was fun, I think I might have another one), a New Year's Eve (I got to stay up and watch fire works) and there is this new water play park in Marrickville Monty and I lose our minds for. 

Learning to write my own name. Also thinking about a career in entomology. Or at least bug painting.

Craft. Pencils, textas, cool shapes hole punches, random bits of paper, boxes, glue stick... yeah, reckon I have it all here. Mr Maker would be dead jealous.

Nuding up in the backyard with Monty man. It's been hot and there is nothing better for cooling down than standing over a sprinkler. You should try it. 

Santa gave me a scooter for Christmas. Mum and dad wondered if Santa bought health insurance as well.

What are we staring at? Possibly the scariest monster on the planet, capable of picking up cars and swinging them around like they were toys, that's what... 

It's Gorilla Attack! We shoot the cars down the track at the gorilla and try to knock the cars out of his hands. Hours of fun...for mum and dad as well.

I am working on my epic 2010 Year in Review post. Thanks to all who made suggestions. I am pretty sure I have them all covered. If not, I will just make something up. You will never know.
