Hi there
Adventures - that's what I am talking about. So I took mum, dad and Monty to Cabramatta in Sydney's west for a bit of culture, food and fun.
I took dad to the train station...
...where he bought tickets. Monty got bored and fell asleep.
Mum decided she needed an egg custard tart. Apparently it is always a good time for tarts.
The train ride was long but good fun. Even the bit when we had to swap to a bus.
Now, this next bit is important. We walked down from the station and ran right into the filming of Masterchef Australia. So, if you don't want to see what some of the competitors look like, avert your eyes!
It's the official Start of a Dynasty MASTERCHEF SPOILER ALERT!!!
Yes, that's that Luke dude in the black, looking emo.
And here's an exclusive that will have News Ltd spewing - here is what they feed the contestants! Hope they enjoyed their cheap bikkies.
We went to a great Vietnamese restaurant and pigged out. Dad couldn't decide what he wanted more - fresh prawn rolls, lemongrass chicken or just to look thoughtful.
Monty enjoyed my guide to the best of Vietnamese cuisine. Including how ace the spoons are. Gillian told me how great asian spoons are.
Crispy pancake. Dad can't cook that on the BBQ.
I do like a roll that has green stuff sticking out of it.
Then it was time to head home - bus then train. Mum and I hung out up the back with the cool kids. Others in our family were nerds and stood up the front.
Bye bye Cabramatta - it was real.
I am planning my next adventure. You will see the pics, that is my promise to you.
Cheers
Harper
